SEKONG:-
Mud
and overgrown grass were cleared to prevent it from blocking the drain along
the row of terrace houses in Taman Indah Jaya at the boundary with Sandakan
Rainforest Park.
The clean up drive was carried out
through the arrangement of Batu Sapi Member of Parliament Datuk Linda Tsen's
office after the matter was brought to her attention.
According to a resident, the recent
wet weather had resulted in mud being swept down from the hill onto the drain
below.
Linda immediately organised the
temporary measure to clean up the mud and also cut the overgrown grass to
prevent it from blocking the drain in view of the current uncertain weather
condition.
Also present was Batu Sapi MP Office
Head Liaison Officer Kong Nyuk Thou.
