SEKONG:-   The fear for their safety was allayed after Batu Sapi Member of Parliament Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin helped the Shim Family repaired the concrete path and retaining wall behind their house to prevent further landslides.

Linda and her aides including Head Liaison Officer of Batu Sapi MP Office Kong Nyuk Thou visited the house to inspect the recently repaired concrete path and retaining wall at Jalan Reservoir, Kampung Cecily.

Madam Shim expressed gratitude to Linda for her concern and prompt action in addressing the problem that was raised to her (Linda) attention.

She and her family members had sleepless nights whenever it rained for fear of landslides that could cause their house to collapse.

Linda had instructed her officers to look into the family’s concerns for their safety due to the condition of the earth behind their house.

The concrete path and retaining wall behind the wooden stilt house were repaired utilizing Linda’s MP Fund, much to the relief of the Shim Family.
