BATU SAPI:- Batu Sapi Member of Parliment
Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin is organizing a meeting with the residents and
land owners of Kampung Pukat at the Sandakan Fishing (TongKang)
Association Building this Sunday.
She urged them to bring
along their land titles and photocopy of their identity cards when attending
the meeting at 2pm, to apply for extension of the land titles which have
expired and about to expire in five or 10 years’ time.
Datuk Linda and
her staff will be there to assist the land owners to apply for extension
of the land titles.
On 3rd April, Linda met the Chief Minister
Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman when he was on an official visit to Kampung Lupak
Meluas, Batu Sapi and discussed with Musa on the land titles in Kampung Pukat which have
expired or are about to expire.
After careful thoughts,
Musa agreed to allow extension of the land titles, and agreed that after
extension of the land titles, the land owners can rebuild the houses that were
destroyed by fire last year, based on the specifications to be provided by the
Sandakan Municipal Council.
On behalf of the land
owners and residents of Kampung Pukat, Linda expressed profound gratitude to
the Chief Minister for his concern for the people.
Linda will compile all
documents related to the application for extension of land titles, and
personally bring them to the Sandakan Municipal Council and other relevant
government departments to expedite the processing the application.
