Linda (middle) and her

schools in Jalan Sibuga
BATU SAPI:- More than
3,000 students of three schools in Jalan Sibuga will have a new covered walkway
to shelter them from the scorching sun or rain while coming and returning from
school.
Batu Sapi Member of
Parliament (MP) Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin is utilizing her MP Fund to build the
450-foot long walkway following a request from the schools’ Parents-Teachers
Associations (PTA).
The construction of the
covered walkway is ongoing and Linda accompanied by her aides, including Head
Liaison Officer Kong Nyuk Thou, inspected the progress of the work recently.
Representatives of the
PTAs were present during her visit to the site and they expressed gratitude to
Linda for her concerns to the wellbeing of the schoolchildren.
The three schools which
will be using the covered walkway are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK)
Sandakan 2, SMK Elopura 2 and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sungai Anib 2.
